Portfolio of Works

Deserts of the Southwest and especially the Anza Borrego desert are among my artistic passions. These watercolors represent my emotional connection with the deserts of California, Arizona and New Mexico.

Birds, especially ravens, crows, and seagulls are a source of interest for me. Living near Mission Bay in San Diego, I am fortunate to be able to observe many fascinating birds. Most of the birds in this collection are part of the illustrations for Gentle Currents, a book of poetry by Julie Potiker.

Trees are one of my many passions–especially eucalyptus, birch trees, and aspens.

Images in this collection are the covers from three books I illustrated from 2008 to 2026. The Gulliver Macaw book was a fundraising project for The Oasis parrot sanctuary in Benson, Arizona. The Pakora and Amrita book was a project for ISKCON, Florence, Italy. Gentle Currents, poems of pause and peace, is the debut work of mindfulness teacher and poet, Julie Potiker.
